Soonchunhyang University (SCH), which means the peaceful hometown compling with the will of heaven, was founded as Soonchunhyang Medical College in 1978 by Dr. Succ-jo Suh, a renowned uthority in neurology, with fewer than one hundred students. Then SCH set off and transformed itself to a highly respected institution of higher education and research which has six colleges and six graduate schools, over 12,000 students enrolled and approximately 380 faculty members.
The Pharmacy School of JSMC reached an agreement with SCH in 2017. Students willing to further their study in SCH can join the program, take Korean classes, and go abroad on their sophomore year. Up to now, 9 students from JSMC have been sent to SCH through this program.
