Hung Kuang University was founded in 1967. It puts its aims at cultivating technical professionals with a balance between the humanitarian spirit and technological expertise. The university has six colleges in the area of Medicine and Nursing, Humanities and Social Sciences, Human Ecology, Management, Engineering, and General Education which offer 18 college programs, 8 graduate programs. The cooperation between JSMC and Hung Kuang University started from 2015 in the field of physiotherapy. Upon 2020, the number of exchange teachers and students is above 50.
