On the afternoon of December 3rd, the second students’ congress of the Pharmacy School was held in B306. Party Branch Secretary Chen Lixin, Deputy Party Branch Secretary Li Feng, Dean of the Pharmacy School’s Office of Students’ Affairs Wang Yuanyuan, Secretary of the Youth League Branch Shi Haiyan and Deputy Secretary Wang Peilin were invited to the congress. 48 students as young representatives attended the congress. Peng Bingbing, member of the presidium of the Student Union of the Pharmacy School, served as the host of the congress.
Deputy Party Branch Secretary Li Feng made a speech for the opening ceremony. In the speech, she extended her best wishes to all representatives, thanked the leaders of the school for attending the congress, and wished the congress a complete success. She commended the work of the student union in recent 3 years, and presented 3 requests: to strive for the future of the motherland, to work hard and down to earth, to strengthen the awareness of service.
Chen Ren made a report on the work of the student union, and Secretary of the Youth League Branch Shi Haiyan said in her closing speech that all representatives could fully implement the spirit of the congress into real actions, and serve as an exemplar in study and the work of the student union, to turn on a new page of the school’s student affairs. The congress ended with the Song of the Youth League. After the congress, the newly elected committee held its first plenary meeting.
