On the afternoon of December 3rd, the Medical School held the second students’ congress in C401. Party Branch Secretary Zhou Wenchao, Deputy Party Branch Secretary Yang Ting, and the teacher in charge of the Youth League Branch were invited to the opening ceremony, and 48 student representatives attended the congress. Liu Qinge, member of the presidium of the Student Union of the Medical School, served as the host of the congress.
On behalf of the Medical School, Party Branch Secretary Zhou Wenchao extended his sincere greetings and wishes to all students of the school. He pointed out that the year 2021 is not only the 100th anniversary of CPC and also the 80th anniversary of the founding of JSMC, which brought the congress a sense of mission. He put forward four hopes to the students: to continue to cultivate morality, to realize self-management, to highlight the role of exemplary leadership, and to build a high-quality brand effect with profound influence. He also shared his experience as a student, which benefited the student representatives a lot.
In the second stage of the congress, the election method of the congress, the work report of the student union, the proposal report and the list of candidates were reviewed and passed. In the third stage, a new session of the student committee members and representatives were elected, and the new committee held its first plenary meeting.
