In order to actively respond to the call of universal vaccination, and to build a barrier of immunization on campus to ensure the safety of teachers and students, on April 14th, JSMC organized students to vaccinate the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
To ensure the safe, standardized and orderly implementation of the vaccination, JSMC coordinated with the Yancheng CDC in front, and invited experts to give on-site guidance. The infirmary worked together with the Department of Teaching Affairs and the Department of Students’ Affairs to arrange the vaccination schedule according to the timetable of the students.
Inside of the vaccination site in the gym, functional areas, such as inquiry area, registration area, vaccination area, observation area, and emergency area were set up. Teachers and students lined up in an orderly manner to complete the procedures of checking ID cards, consulting on health conditions, and signing informed consents. After all previous procedures, the COVID-19 vaccination began, and the ones who got vaccinated could only leave the site after a half-an-hour observation in the observation area.
On the morning of April 14th, college leaders and student party members took the lead and got vaccinated. A total of more than 3,000 teachers and students take the vaccine during this on-campus vaccination.
