On the afternoon of June 1st, an online video report on learning and conveying the spirit of the 2020 sessions of NPC and CPPCC was held by the Jiangsu Education Department. A sub-venue was set by JSMC in the third conference room of the Academic Conference Center. All presidents currently at Yancheng and deans of departments and schools participated in the online report which was hosted by Su Chunhai, deputy secretary of the Education Working Committee of Jiangsu.
At the report, Xiong Sidong, representative of the 13th NPC and President of Soochow University, and Qiao Xu, member of CPPCC and President of Nanjing Tech University, introduced the background, agenda, general situation and performance of the delegation of the sessions of NPC and CPPCC respectively, with the focal point on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, and interpreted the proposal they submitted.
Su Chunhai then conveyed the requirements of Ge Daokai, director of Jiangsu Education Department on studying and implementing the spirit of the sessions, and emphasized that the entire education system of Jiangsu should study and implement the spirit an important political task is to ensure the order and quality of education, to maintain the foundation and grassroot level education, and to ensure the successful conclusion of the goal of building a well-off society in all respects.
After the report, a comprehensive deployment to further implementation of the spirit was made.
