On the afternoon of May 18th, Fei Jian, Deputy Mayor of Yancheng, accompanied by Deputy Secretary-General Wang Sheng and Zhou Zhenyu, Director of the Seventh Secretariat of the People’s Government of Yancheng, came to JSMC for investigation and guidance. Party Secretary Hao Dafu, President Chen Guozhong, and relevant department deans of JSMC participated in the investigation.
Deputy Mayor Fei Jian and his entourages, accompanied by Party Secretary Hao Dafu and President Chen Guozhong, visited the campus, the Tiejun Garden and the simulation center. After the visit, a meeting on JSMC’s construction work was held in the fifth conference room of the academic conference center.
At the meeting, Party Secretary Hao Dafu welcomed Deputy Mayor Fei Jian and his entourages for investigation and guidance, and briefed on the work experience of the Deputy Mayor. President Chen Guozhong made a specific report on JSMC’s development, curriculum construction, talent training, enrollment and employment conditions, etc.
The Deputy Mayor first expressed his appreciation for the college’s achievements and the steadily growing overall influence. then he put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on key work and issues that restrict the college’s development. He hoped that JSMC can seize the chance of which huge demand for health personnel in China and also in Jiangsu province, and further emancipate the mind to implement the work carefully, and unite the joint efforts to promote the high-quality development of the college.
Party Secretary Hao Dafu extended his gratitude to the Deputy Mayor for his support, and promised that JSMC will further implement the work plan of Jiangsu province and Yancheng, to earnestly grasp the key tasks, and promote the high-quality development, joining the development projects of “A Healthy Yancheng” and “A Healthy Jiangsu” with practical actions.
