In order to earnestly implement the spirit of helping the students with financial difficulties, and to understand the actual situation of families of poor students, during January 17th to 20th, Vice President Wang Hui and Shi Xinghua together with the staff of the Students’ Affairs Department visited 20 families of JSMC students with financial difficulties in Yancheng, Suqian, Xuzhou and other places in Jiangsu.
During the visit, the teachers knew about the actual situation of students with financial difficulties, sent consolation items to them, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the parents of the students to carefully inquire about the students’ life and study situation. At the same time, it also gave parents and students a detailed introduction to China’s poverty funding policies and JSMC’s funding system. The students interviewed said that they would study hard in the future and live up to the expectations of teachers; their parents also thanked the college leaders and teachers for their help.
