In order to resume the orderly teaching progress and steadily transit from online to offline teaching, on the afternoon of April 30th, a mid-term teaching affairs conference was held in the fifth conference room of the Academic Conference Center hosted by Wang Tingzhi, director of the Department of Teaching Affairs. Vice President Gao Cuixiang and all deans and deputy deans of the schools and personnel from the Department of Teaching Affairs attended the conference.
At the conference, Wei Zhiming, deputy director of the Department of Teaching Affairs, summarized the previous online teaching, presented the existing problems and proposed improvements. He also reported the offline teaching arrangements after the students returned to school. Then, Director Wang Tingzhi provided supplementary explanations on the data collection of teacher online assessment, the study arrangements for students who had not returned, and related work to graduates. He also noted the construction progress of key majors of JSMC in Jiangsu Province. Deans of the schools exchanged views on the progress and the encountered difficulties.
At the end of the conference, Vice President Gao Cuixiang made a concluding speech. She hoped that each school can sort out the problems and difficulties occurred in online teaching as soon as possible, analyze them, and lay a solid foundation to the coming offline teaching.
