To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War, on the morning of September 28th, JSMC organized the unveiling ceremony of the N4A bronze statue in Tiejun Park. All college leaders, deans and representatives of teachers and students participated. The ceremony was hosted by vice-president Shi Xinghua.

A speech was delivered by Party secretary Hao Dafu at the ceremony, in which he pointed out that as a medical college founded during the war, with its name changed from Sanitation School of Central China to Jiangsu Vocational College of Medicine, the Iron Spirit of the New Fourth Army has always been the source of strength for the high-quality development of JSMC and has inspired several generations of teachers and students to forge ahead. He hopes that all party members remember the spirits of the ancestors who sacrificed themselves for the great revolution, and continue to maintain the courageous perseverance in the construction of JSMC.

Subsequently, party secretary Hao Dafu and president Chen Guozhong jointly unveiled the N4A bronze statue.

The unveiling ceremony is of great significance for JSMC to inherit the red gene of the New Fourth Army and carry forward the glorious tradition of revolution. JSMC will continue to carry out patriotism education among teachers and students, and to push forward the ambition of serving the country and promoting the sound and rapid development of JSMC.
